2019 has started out cold and snowy this year but we’re as busy as ever here at GTG. Here’s what’s happening this year.

December 2019

Construction has begun for the new building of  D2M Chiropractic & Sports Rehabilitation! Here’s a photo of the first few walls going up.

November 2019

Construction of a new underground electrical vault has completed at Iowa State University and shown here is the final grading!

Over at Iowa State University our construction team has been busy excavating and pouring concrete for a new underground electrical vault near the College of Design.

Our partners at D2M Chiropractic & Sports Rehabilitation have broken ground at their new location in Ankeny! It’s been a pleasure working with them and we thank them for choosing GTG for the design and construction of their new building.

July 2019

How do you paint the interior of a 5-story atrium? One brush stroke at a time. GTG is painting the atrium of the College of Design at Iowa State University. Special thanks to our friends at 1st Interiors and Central States Scaffolding.

DMU simulation lab renovation is in the final stretch. Completion scheduled for July 26th!

As part of GTG’s partnership with ROERS Companies we are happy to announce the completion of Onyx Office Suites in downtown Des Moines. Check out this video here for a look at the building.

April 2019

GTG has partnered with Tometich Engineering to provide services in facilitating the relocation of Maple Grove Church in West Des Moines along with an addition once the relocation is complete.

Taking advantage of the first warm weekend in a long time, ProbioFerm’s new fermentation building gets a new parking lot. Thanks to Jordison for being there when we needed them.

February 2019

GTG is partnering with Roer Companies on their Onyx Office Suites in downtown Des Moines. Onyx offers flexible new office space in high amenity building. GTG is pleased to be apart of the design and construction process. See this article for more information.

November 2018

After a rainy summer, work is underway at reshaping and expanding the Des Moines University campus stormwater detention basin. Special thanks to Civil Design Advantage and Carter Construction Group.

Work is underway at the Iowa National Guard Fort Dodge Pavement project.

September 2018

Des Moines Public Schools have approved our preliminary plans for the upcoming renovation of Lovejoy Elementary School. Check them out here along with some of the other school renovations that are going on.

August 2018

GTG Companies has been recognized as an Authorized Builder by American Buildings.

June 2018

GTG has officially been approved as a Targeted Small Business with the Iowa Economic Development Authority
